Welcome to the web site for Menmuir , a rural community on the edge of the Angus Glens in Scotland.
The site was launched on the 8th June 2001 at an event at our village hall and is still developing. It is designed and maintained by local volunteers. Feel free to e-mail us with suggestions for improving the site, faults you may find, or with any information you think we should add. We welcome information or artwork from people in or associated with the area, anything from local history to tradesmen and businesses, children, clubs and hobbies.
The site is only as good as the information on it and input from residents or former residents of the area is strongly encouraged.
New to the site is more on the WRI, the beginings of an archive of old photographs and Menmuir's prehistory.
